Abstract

The long-term operation of fixed platforms used for offshore oil and gas production fixed platforms (OOGPFP), and the technological equipment installed on them, in extreme marine climatic conditions has led to significant wear and tear. It is well known that the metal structures of OOGPFP s and their associated equipment are affected by a wide range of corrosion factors in offshore oil and gas production conditions. Clearly, production will continue until the productive formations are completely depleted. During this period, it is essential to ensure safe working conditions while maintaining high product quality. One important task in protecting structures from corrosion is the annual monitoring of pipelines and equipment that pose the greatest risk in the event of an accident, as well as production facilities, centralized collection units (CCU) and centralized compressor unit (CComU). This process involves taking corrosion samples and measuring corrosion using an electrical resistance sensor, as well as measuring the residual wall thickness of the equipment. This article presents the results of scientific and applied research and testing to improve current anti-corrosion protection systems.
