Article Submission Guidelines

The Editorial Board accepts only original research articles that correspond to the scientific profile of the journal, have not been published elsewhere and are not under consideration by any other journal.
All submissions must be made exclusively through the journal’s OJS platform: https://journal.ama.com.az/

General Requirements

Articles may be submitted in Azerbaijani, English, or Russian.
Length: 5-10 pages.
Manuscripts must be uploaded via OJS; submissions by e-mail are not accepted.
File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).

Article Structure

The manuscript must include the following components:

2.1. Title and Author Information

Title of the article
Author(s) initials and surname
Full affiliation and address for each author
E-mail address of authors (including the corresponding author).

❗ All the above information must be submitted in three languages (AZ, EN, RU).
In OJS, this information must also be entered in the Metadata section.

2.2. Abstract

Provided in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian
Length: approximately 100–250 words
May be structured: Purpose – Method – Results – Significance (Within one paragraph, without headings)

2.3. Keywords

Up to 6 keywords in each language
Enter keywords in the OJS metadata form as well.

2.4. Main Text

The article must be organized into the following sections:

Introduction
Purpose of the Study
Problem Statement
Solution / Methodology
Conclusion

2.5. UDC (Universal Decimal Classification) Code

It is placed at the beginning of the article, before the title and author information.

2.6. Figures and Tables

Captions must be provided in the language of the article and also translated into English.
Figures and tables must be placed within the text near their first mention.
Additional files may be uploaded in OJS under “Supplementary Files”.

2.7. References

References must be provided in Latin transliteration.
5–15 references recommended.
Listed according to citation order in the text (1, 2, 3...).
At least one reference to the journal “Herald of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy” is recommended.

Length: maximum 10 pages

Plagiarism Check

All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection tools.
Minimum originality requirement: 75%.

Peer Review Process

A double-blind peer review is applied.
Reviewers are PhD or Doctor of Science experts.
Review period: up to 1 months.
Authors may be asked to revise the manuscript.
After revision, the article is re-evaluated by reviewers.

Publication Fee

No publication charges apply.
The journal is fully open access and free of charge.
However, only urgent and online publication is possible. The publication fee is 300 AZN (for more information, please contact the editorial office).
