Abstract

The article analyzes issues related to improving the energy efficiency and operational relia-bility of compressor stations (CS) on offshore platforms during the production decline period of gas-condensate fields. Under the conditions of decreasing reservoir pressure and well productivity, the operational characteristics of conventional centrifugal compressors were analyzed, and a re-source-saving compressor station model adaptable to changing technological regimes was propo-sed. The necessity of implementing flexible compressor systems capable of efficient operation over a wide range of flow and suction pressures was substantiated in order to conserve resources and adapt technological regimes to changing conditions. The article analyzes the difficulties encounte-red in adapting compressor stations to decreasing production rates and reservoir pressure under real operating conditions. A compressor model for the final stage of field development was proposed, and appropriate parameters were determined, including the productivity of a single compressor with different configurations, the required number of compressors, and the total annual productivity of all compressors. The performed calculations showed that the proposed model enables more ef-ficient operation of the compressor station during the production decline stage, reduces specific energy consumption, extends equipment service life, and improves the reliability of the offshore platform technological system.
