Abstract

The article addresses the issues of improving the efficiency of irrigated agriculture through the application of water-saving technologies and by accounting for the reliability of irrigation systems. It demonstrates the influence of water supply intensity, the uniform moisture distribution, and the operational characteristics of equipment on the formation of crop yields. The proposed approach incorporates agrobiological, environmental, and socio-economic requirements in optimizing irrigation regimes. Mathematical relationships are developed to assess the impact of various factors, including the system readiness coefficient, on yield. It is established that reduced equipment reliability leads to a decrease in irrigation norms and yield losses. The necessity of considering equipment downtime and operational parameters in system design is substantiated. The obtained results make it possible to improve water resource efficiency, ensure the sustainability of agricultural production, and increase crop yields under various soil and climatic conditions.
