Water Supply in Azerbaijan and its Solutions

Abstract

This article examines the current state of water resources in Azerbaijan, analyzing the main issues related to their use, quality, and conservation. In the face of global climate change, population growth, and ineffective water management, the country is facing declining water reserves, increasing losses, and pollution. Particular attention is paid to the structure and dynamics of water resources, agricultural mechanisms for their use, and modern technologies for improving water efficiency. Recommendations are presented for modernizing water supply infrastructure, implementing water-saving methods, and reducing losses. The article emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach to ensuring sustainable development of the water sector and strengthening the country's water security.
